Unusual in this segment, 2006 Scion xB also features standard Vehicle Stability Control (VSC) with traction control (TRAC) as standard equipment. The VSC system helps the vehicle maintain its intended course by detecting front-wheel slide and rear-wheel slide during cornering, and then attempting to control either condition with throttle intervention and/or by braking individual wheels. The system's TRAC feature helps reduce tire slippage during acceleration.

Standard passive safety features include driver and passenger front airbags, as well as head restraints and three-point seatbelts in all five seating positions.



Fully-Equipped

There are no base or upgrade models in the Scion line: all models feature a high-content "mono-spec" trim to deliver exceptional value. Standard features in the xB include air conditioning, power windows with one-touch auto down on the driver's window, power door locks and mirrors, intermittent windshield wipers and a rear window defogger and wiper.

Every Scion vehicle comes with three complimentary oil changes, to be performed by an authorized Scion or Toyota dealership.



Make It Your Own

Scion dealers offer a wide range of accessories to personalize the xB. Popular exterior
appearance accessories include alloy wheels, rear bumper appliqué, taillamp lenses, a rear spoiler, fog lamps, carbon fiber trim pieces, front end mask, taillamp garnish and Toyota Racing Development (TRD) Sport Parts.

The customer can take the Scion xB even farther with an available LED interior light kit, sport pedals, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, shift knobs, door sill enhancements and sport pedals.


Colors

Colors available for Scion xB remain unchanged and include Polar White, Thunder Cloud Metallic, Black Sand Pearl, Camouflage, Black Cherry Pearl, and Blue Onyx Pearl. Exterior colors are matched with a high-quality dark charcoal fabric interior.



Generous Warranty

All Scion models feature a 36-month/36,000 mile basic new-vehicle limited warranty that applies to all components other than normal wear and maintenance items. Additional 60-month warranties cover the powertrain for 60,000 miles and corrosion with no mileage limitation. All Genuine Scion accessories are also covered by the new-vehicle warranty.
