If the vehicle begins to fishtail, or oversteer, StabiliTrak applies the outside front brake to straighten the vehicle. StabiliTrak is integrated with the traction control and anti-lock braking (ABS) systems.


The luxury car architecture - also the basis for Cadillac's STS and SRX models - provides CTS with the ride comfort requisite for a Cadillac, along with excellent braking, steering and cornering capability. The fully independent suspension features long wheel travel and precise geometry for flat cornering and well-controlled ride. Optional performance packages are available with either engine choice. The 3.6L Performance Package includes StabiliTrak, more aggressive suspension tuning, automatic rear load leveling shocks, speed-sensitive variable assist steering, 18-inch alloy wheels, W-rated tires, performance brakes, limited slip differential and Xenon HID headlamps.

In keeping with Cadillac's reputation for technology, all 2007 Cadillac owners will receive 12 months of complimentary access to Cadillac Virtual Advisor by OnStar. Cadillac Virtual Advisor service begins at activation of OnStar Hands-Free Calling. Cadillac Virtual Advisor provides three-day weather forecasts and traffic reports within pre-selected ranges of 5, 10 or 15 miles of the vehicle's location in most major markets. Cadillac Virtual Advisor also monitors traffic for up to three personalized routes and reports information on up to 10 selected stocks on the DJI and NASDAQ markets - all at the touch of a single button. Cadillac CTS-V

The 400-horsepower (298 kW) CTS-V is the founding member of Cadillac's V-Series, a club of exclusive vehicles that represent the full expression of Cadillac performance and luxury.

Designed to compete with the world's absolute best high-performance sedans, CTS-V is the production counterpart to Cadillac's CTS-V race car that is the defending champion in the SPEED World Challenge GT series.

Based on Cadillac's performance-oriented rear-drive luxury architecture, CTS-V is a highly refined high-performance luxury sedan. The CTS-V features a 6.0L V-8 engine with a six-speed manual transmission and performance-tuned suspension, as well as numerous exterior and interior design touches.
