| | | | 2007 Agila Engines and transmissions
All three engines available for the Agila comply with the Euro 4 emissions standard: two engines with the innovative, fuel-efficient TWINPORT technology and one CDTI common-rail turbo-diesel. The 1.0 TWINPORT three-cylinder (44 kW/60 hp) with variable intake control and high rates of exhaust gas recirculation consumes only 5.8 liters per 100 kilometers. The 1.2 TWINPORT ECOTEC (59 kW/80 hp) is a close second for fuel efficiency, at just 6.0 liters per 100 km. At the same time, the top speed is increased from 145 to 161 km/h. The 1.3 CDTI ECOTEC, which develops its maximum torque of 170 Nm at just 1750 rpm, needs only 4.9 liters of diesel per 100 km and has a top speed of 153 km/h. 2007 Agilas come standard with a precise and easy-to-shift five-speed transmission.
Quality and economic efficiency
2007 Agila meets the highest standards in terms of quality, reliability and service life. Customers benefit from extended service intervals and reduced scope of required maintenance, which help minimize operating costs. The repair-friendly modular component concept pays off in favorable insurance ratings and lower premiums. All corrosion-prone body parts are manufactured from thin galvanized steel sheets - a solid basis for the vehicle's 12-year anti-perforation warranty and a good reason for the automotive magazine "Auto Bild" to elect the microvan "Best Value Car 2004." A further advantage is that the Agila - like all Opel vehicles - comes with a two-year new-car manufacturer's warranty that goes far beyond the mandatory guarantee.
