The AC Schnitzer Type IV "BiColor" Alloys
The next evolution of the Type IV wheel generation

We're almost there: In summer 2006, the new AC Schnitzer Type IV "BiColor" alloys celebrate their world premiere. This takes the success story of the AC Schnitzer Type IV wheel to the next evolutionary level.

The great attention paid by the entire AC Schnitzer team to the development of all wheels goes almost without saying. In the end, it is the wheels which transfer the power of the vehicle to the road. They are permanently exposed to the highest loads and - quite secondarily - have become THE stylistic design object which makes them an eyecatcher on almost any vehicle.

The corresponding ultramodern look is achieved with the highest standards of material, finish and driving dynamics in the new AC Schnitzer Type IV "BiColor" alloys which will be available in a one-piece variant from summer 2006.

The sporting, elegant 5-spoke wheel has a particularly fine filigree design. The individual spokes which run out as a star from the pentagonal wheel centre have an almost gracile effect. Towards the rim flange, each spoke has a triangular dish which sets an aesthetic highlight.

The two-Color design, high polished in combination with gloss black, gives the Type IV wheel an unmistakeable appearance, which fits superbly into the current BMW design lines. The "BiColor" wheel could have been made for the newer models e.g. BMW 1-series (E87) and 3-series (E90/E91). But the Type IV "BiColor" rim is also a perfect accessory for the other current BMW models.

Another positive side effect of the two-Color finish is that it shows the dirt far less than conventional one-Color wheels.

Naturally the new Type IV "BiColor" wheel generation fits all vehicles in the current BMW model range. In sizes 8.5J x 19" and 9.5J x 19" it covers the most common wheel sizes with various offsets across the range.

The enclosed list shows which wheel and tyre combinations are suitable for which vehicles.

For tyres we recommend high performance tyres from Continental and Michelin. Naturally all components are TUV-tested and available from your BMW dealer.
