Vauxhall Launches Astra TwinTop Accessory Range






The stunning new Vauxhall Astra TwinTop hits the showrooms this month - and hot on its heels comes an extensive range of lifestyle and practical accessories to help owners get even more enjoyment from this latest take on open top motoring.

That wind in the hair feeling is intoxicating for many drivers, but some can find the buffeting a little chilly without the protection of sports coats and scarves. The solution is a two-piece wind deflector, which fits neatly behind the front seatbacks to prevent wind swirling around the rear seat area.

By restricting turbulence, the wind simply flows over and around the deflector to dramatically reduce the wind chill effect for front seat occupants. Consisting of a lightweight black metal frame with mesh inserts, the Astra TwinTop Wind Deflector can be folded for stowage in the boot when the rear seats need to be used. It is priced at UKP 149 and can be installed in just a few seconds.

A vital accessory for weekend touring in the TwinTop is a suitable luggage holdall, and Vauxhall retailers can offer a number of options designed specifically for the new model. These range from a sports bag at UKP 39 to a trolley bag at UKP 69. There is even a designer laptop bag for your computer at UKP 49.

A range of practical accessories includes a set of tailored velour carpet mats at UKP 47, rubber front mats at UKP 19 per pair, and a detachable tow bar at UKP 269 for owners who need to tow a boat or trailer.

Irmscher, the Vauxhall styling specialists, can offer a choice of two bodywork packs for the new TwinTop. The first features a cross hatch grille with laser-etched Irmscher logo, rear wing spoiler, stainless steel door handle covers, fuel flap cover and Irmscher badge and keyring. The fitted price of this pack is UKP 675.

The second styling pack provides front lower skirt extensions, cross hatch grille, rear wing spoiler, fuel flap cover and Irmscher badge and keyring, all for UKP 995 fully fitted.
