Audi RS4 is the most powerful member of the A4 model line

With a maximum power output of 340 bhp, Audi S4 was up until now the most powerful member of the Audi A4 model line. With the new RS 4, Audi is offering just that little bit more.
Audi RS4 V8 engine with petrol direct injection generates 420 bhp and accelerates the vehicle to 100 km/h from a standing start in a mere 4.8 seconds. A particularly ingenious feature is the starter button on the centre console which sets the V8 engine running when the ignition is on and the clutch pedal depressed. While the engine sounds very throaty at high speeds, conversations are still possible in the interior. The suspension tuning is also highly successful.
The Dynamic Ride Control (DRC) keeps movements of the vehicle body under control - hydraulically and completely without electronic aids. This means that the car's suspension remains as hard as it needs to be when cornering, but ensures excellent ride comfort on straights. |
