BMW Brand Again Named Quality Leader in Strategic Vision Total Quality Index BMW 7 Series Takes Top Quality Honors Overall
For the second year in a row, and seventh time in eight years, BMW owners ranked BMW as the highest quality brand in Strategic Vision's 2006 Total Quality IndexTM (TQI). In addition, the BMW 7 Series received the highest quality score of any vehicle in the study and was the winner in the "Luxury Car" category.

Strategic Vision, the San Diego-based research firm, surveyed more than 29,000 buyers who bought 2006 models in October and November 2005. Buyers were asked an extensive array of questions about their complete ownership experience including buying, owning and driving their new vehicles. According to Strategic Vision, the Total Quality IndexTM, "assesses the complete ownership experience, from buying and owning to driving new vehicles. This is how buyers gauge quality, including attributes and the emotional response to the vehicle." |
