Irmscher Presents the Individualized Astra GTC



With the new Astra GTC, Opel presents the third and surely more exciting family member of the new Astra Generation. The GTC - the abbreviation stands for Grand Turismo Compact - will especially be on the wish list of sporty, ambitious customers. Irmscher, the specialist for extraordinary sporty vehicle accessories, offers this clientele in particular an attractive selection of products to adapt optically and technically to the individual requirements for the new GTC.



Exterior
Uncompromising dynamic look

Irmscher produces the dynamic presentation of the vehicle with expressive design ideas that are skilfully integrated into the flat, excitingly domed silhouette. The front spoiler lip and the succinct Irmscher radiator grille inset with stainless-steel screen describe the unmistakable front of the vehicle. Irmscher Tuning emphasizes the wedge-shaped side view with aerodynamically designed side sills and sport mirrors as well as shining chrome door handle trims. The rear of the vehicle is covered by a striking roof spoiler. The Irmscher stainless-steel rear silencer with tail-pipe in a double elliptical design also emphasizes the sporty rear area.



Interior
Not off the peg - Irmscher Tuning leather interior trim

Customers who also attach importance to an individual note in the vehicle can have leather interior trim made at Irmscher according to their personal wishes. In the Irmscher-GTC the Remshaldeners show that almost nothing is impossible. Seat side-walls, door-panel linings, middle armrests, gear-lever and hand brake lever sleeves are produced in black leather with a conspicuous carbon embossing. The seat squabs are covered with light-grey Alcantara and also provided with an effective check quilt borrowed from motor sport. Irmscher offers matching noble leather-set velour floor mats. The middle-console cover comes in real aluminium in the refined Astra GTC. Furthermore, the standard hand-brake lever is replaced by a high-grade alu-look handle and the standard pedals give way to aluminium sport pedals.



Technical features
Drivability plus

Irmscher answers the demand for more power with performance increases for the Common Rail Turbo Diesel with 1.7 and 1.9-litre cubic capacity. The performance in the 1.7-litre unit is increased by 20 and in the 1.9-litre by 25 HP. With a set of springs geared specially to the Opel-IDS chassis, Irmscher sustainably supports the track stability when driving in a sporty manner. 19-inch light-alloy wheels in Delta resp. GT Star-Design as well as the double elliptical rear silencer complete the Irmscher Tuning technology package.
