Power and Style to the 2006 Honda Ridgeline with New K&N Air Intake

The 2006 Honda Ridgeline is something truly different in the world of pickups. The unibody construction, transverse-mounted 3.5 liter V-6, and four-wheel-independent suspension is not typical pickup hardware.

K&N Engineering has a polished aluminum 77 Series Air Intake (77-3515KP) available for the truck that defies convention. K&N tests have shown a horsepower gain of 9.70 @ 5159 RPM with this intake.

The intake, like all other K&N air intakes, was engineered specifically to work within the Ridgeline's computer specifications while maximizing power and allowing air to flow with little restriction. The large cone K&N air filter and aerodynamic tube removes much of the restriction caused by the factory intake and allows a massive amount of air into the engine; this in turn translates into power. The intake has a shiny polished tube for a great look on Honda Ridgeline's engine.

Our engineers also took advantage of the factory fresh air duct on the 2006 Honda Ridgeline. The factory fresh air inlet in the bottom of the engine compartment guides cool outside air into the intake track. The heat shield has an opening that allows the fresh air intake duct to feed air to the K&N high-flow air filter. The air filter is isolated from high engine temperature by a heat shield which aids in increasing horsepower.

It takes about 40 minutes or less to install this kit and the oversize lifetime K&N air filter performs for up to 100,000 miles before service is required depending on driving conditions.
