193 hp / 142 kW for the new Mercedes 200 Kompressor Models




BRABUS K4: That's the name of the tuning kit that BRABUS now offers for the new Mercedes C 200, CLK 200, E 200 and SLK 200 Kompressor. The K4 kit increases power output of the new roadster from 163 hp / 120 kW to 193 hp / 142 kW.


The engine tuning comprises newly calibrated engine electronics with custom mapping for ignition and injection as well as a moderate increase in boost pressure. The BRABUS K4 performance kit increases not only maximum power output but also peak torque. 260 Nm of peak torque represent an increase of more than ten percent over the production version of the four-cylinder four-valve engine. Performance improves accordingly: On the new SLK 200 acceleration time from 0 - 100 km/h is shortened to 7.5 seconds, top speed increases to 236 km/h.
