Mercedes-Coupe CL FK 6.0 with 6-Liter Supercharged V12

Enough is never enough: This the motto behind FAB DESIGN's extensive refinement treatment of the grand Mercedes coupe. The new aerodynamik programm fits in harmony into the entire picture and gives the vehicule a more sporty apperance. The result: More power, more sportiness, more exclusivity, more creature comforts.



Under the hood of the FAB DESIGN FT 6.0 beats the heart of a bull. After the extensive interferences on the Base 6-liter V12 engine, based on the Mercedes-Benz, is equipped with an Biturbo. The engine heaves a whopping 612 hp (448 kW) onto the crankshaft. The supercharger found its rightful place between the cylinder banks. The FT 6.0 reaches its torque maximum of 980 Nm at just 1850 rpm. Thus equipped the CL Coupe accelerates in just 4.8 seconds from 0 to 100 km/h and isn't satisfied until the needle indicates a top speed of 320 km/h.



Despite the enormous power output the engine remains as creamy as the stock version over the entire rpm-range. The same is true for the exhaust emissions of the FT 6.0. Like its cousin it meets strict europeian emission limits.


Another new development is the 20-inch three-piece FAB DESIGN six-hole wheel, which debuts on the FT 6.0. The wheels are painted silver and assembled with titanium screws. The highly polished outer flange is designed with an entirely flat surface thus creating the illusion of a much larger rim By the polished surfaces of the central star, as well as the visible screw, receive the weel an elegant and technical Look. On the front axle the wheels are mounted in size 9J x 20, on the rear axle in size 10J x 20. In the front and the rear the FAB DESIGN engineers prefer to mount Dunlop high-performance tires, in size 255/35 ZR 20 in the front, in size 285/30 ZR 20 in the rear.


The FAB DESIGN CL FT 6.0 proudly shows its racing-inspired colors. FAB DESIGN front spoiler bumper and rear apron with double-deck wing profiles evoke racing associations, and reduce lift on front and rear axle. The rear apron features custom-tailored cutouts for the FAB DESIGN stainless-steel sport exhaust system with 85-mm quadruple tailpipes, for sportiv sound and exclusiv appearance. Both aprons are simply exchanged for their production counterparts using the identical mounting points.


Not just the styling, the choice of materials, too, is inspired by motor racing. Upon request FAB DESIGN manufactures the lower wings of the aprons from unpainted carbon fiber renowned for its use in Formula racecars. A FAB DESIGN roof spoiler - also available in an unpainted carbon fiber version upon request - guides the relative wind onto the separation edge of the trunk lid. As an added benefit the roof spoiler also reduces the greenhouse effect inside the vehicle. Elegantly shaped sidesills round out the decidedly sporty bodylines of the FAB DESIGN CL FT 6.0
