MK Airbox System
Incl. streamline technology on the exhaust side




THE MK-AIRBOX-SYSTEM IS A PERFECT IDEA; IT IS PERFECTED!!! It consists of MK airbox (carbon fibre), MK streamline header with X-pipe, special air filter system, MK end muffler, MK special electronics without mass airflow sensor (Alpha-N) incl. vmax demolition, DTM sound.



The MK airbox (carbon fibre) disposes of a very big air volume in the box and of long suction pipes. Opposite to the BMW M3 CSL box, which has its intake area in the engine compartment, the MK airbox disposes of a ram-air system situated in the left wheel house. The intake temperature corresponds to the air stream, compared to the CSL-box the intake air temperature is approx. 25 degrees C lower.



The MK streamline header has been developed according to the streamline technology. Lengths of primary pipes have been determined on the stationary test stand. Equipped with the end muffler with low intake backpressure as well as special electronics, without any mass airflow sensor (Alpha-N) one gets more power of 55 bhp (41 kW) and a max. torque of over 400 Nm, and now… imagine something fantastic: all this is with the standard engine! Vmax over 300 km/h, 0 - 100 in 4.8 seconds.
