There's no denying that the hottest engine around is GM's Gen III engine, most often referred to as the LS-1, LS-6 or now the LS-2. Well our engineers have been working overtime to provide the components you need to fire up performance!
MSD Ignition introduced this Controller as the ignition driver for engines that were being retrofit with a carbureted intake manifold. However, with the addition of our new Gen III Harness, PN 8886, it can now be installed on EFI equipped engines as well!
The 6LS Controller from MSD Ignition installs easily by connecting directly to the coil assemblies, the crank and cam sensors and other factory components. Then the fun begins! The Controller allows you to run a pre-programmed timing curves or you can hook up your laptop and build a custom curve to match your specific application. Our Windows based software, the Pro-Data+, makes it easy to map a complete timing curve, program a launch rev limit, set a step retard or even plot a boost timing map. You'll be able to custom tune your LS-1 or LS-2 to fit with other modifications.
