Alfa Romeo engine choice is very rich. The two 1.6 petrol engines and the 2.0 with variable geometry aspiration deliver torque values just under the maximum at only 2000 rpm.

2.0 Twin Spark 16v (1970,150 BHP-EEC, 208 km/hr).
The 150 BHP 2.0 engine is fitted with a variable geometry intake system, giving more gradual and smoother power delivery.
It is also available in the version with Selespeed transmission, fitted with robotic gear shift and clutch control.
This engine conforms to Euro 3 standards.
1.6 T.Spark 16V
1.6 Twin Spark 16v (1598 cc, 105 BHP-EEC, 185 km/hr)

Another Twin Spark engine providing top-of-the-range performance with all the characteristics of bigger sports engines.
Its 120 BHP can deliver a top speed of 195 km/hr and acceleration from 0 to 100 km/hr in 10.6 seconds.
