Tyre-pressure sensor. This system monitors the car`s tyre pressure levels and warns the driver of any discrepancies in the readings by triggering a warning lamp in the instrument cluster. Once the tyre pressures have been corrected, a button in the transmission tunnel must be pressed so that the control unit can reinitialise, i.e. reset, the system.


Rain sensor. The tiny rain sensor, featured for the first time in the new Leon, is located at the top of the windscreen on the front passenger side. The diminutive dimensions of this component and its positioning in the tinted zone of the windscreen mean that it can barely be noticed.


A parking aid sensor is also to be found on the equipment list of the new SEAT Leon, while the new model's highly advanced electronics repertoire is rounded off by features such as an auto-dimming rear-view mirror, cruise control, a trip computer and the "Coming Home" function.
