Nissan Titan 2007
Power and Advanced Utility Features Make the 2007 Nissan Titan an Unmatched Value

In 2007, Nissan Titan pickup carries on the tradition of innovation, performance and value it established three years ago when it was first introduced. Titan was the first in class* to offer features such as Wide-Open rear doors (King Cab) that open 168 degrees for nearly unlimited interior access, a high-utility bed that includes an industry-first factory-applied spray-on bedliner, a Utili-track tie-down system that provides ultimate cargo hauling flexibility and an integrated, lockable bedside storage compartment.

2007 Nissan Titan receives only minor enhancements from the 2006 model, which received top honors in the Large Pickup segment of J.D. Power and Associates' Automotive Performance, Execution, and Layout (APEAL) study. The study measures owner "delight" with the design, content, layout and performance of their new vehicles.

"At Nissan we specialize in offering solutions to customers' unmet needs, and Titan is one of the best examples," said Bill Bosley, vice president and general manager, Nissan Division. "Our research revealed that truck owners wanted better access to the rear seat in King Cabs, better use of their truck beds, a better solution to drop-in bedliners and a better alternative to high fuel costs - and Titan delivers across the board."

2007 Nissan Titan, as an available Flexible Fuel Vehicle (FFV), is equipped with a common fuel tank designed to run on varying blends of gasoline with ethanol or other fuel. Ethanol is a renewable, environmentally friendly fuel that reduces CO2 greenhouse gas, and Nissan's and others' expansion of such technology into the U.S. market could play a key role in the long-term U.S. energy strategy.

Other 2007 Nissan Titan enhancements include an increase to 317 horsepower (from 305 horsepower) and to 385 lb-ft torque (from 379 lb-ft). Titan LE and SE models add Chrome Packages that share 18" chrome wheels and chrome step rails, SE offers a utility bed option with the Chrome Package, and LE models add an available "Texas Titan" Package.

Full-Size Power for Full-Size Lives

The heart and soul of 2007 Nissan Titan is pure, unabashed power. For 2007, Titan's all-aluminum 5.6-liter V8 engine receives an increase to both the bell mouth radius on the air cleaner and the port diameter of the intake manifold, helping produce increased 317 horsepower and 385 lb-ft of torque ratings. 2007 Nissan Titan features a maximum towing capacity of 9,500 pounds for King Cab and 9,400 pounds for Crew Cab (when properly equipped) - as much as some 3/4-ton pickups. Titan utilizes a rugged, fully boxed high-strength all-steel F-Alpha platform for enhanced crash performance and long-term durability.

The standard 5-speed automatic transmission was designed especially for heavy-duty truck use, with emphasis on serious towing. Each component was created for full-size truck application, and a wide gear ratio was used to create a high performance control system producing top-class acceleration, power and shift quality.

The use of advanced engine technology on 2007 Nissan Titan such as aluminum block with cast iron cylinder liners, forged steel crankshaft, microfinished crankshaft and camshaft, graphite-coated pistons, 6-bolt main bearing caps, and Super Silent single-stage timing chain result in good fuel economy with no sacrifice of performance.
