| | | | The common rail high-pressure direct injection system can provide injection pressures vary between 300 and 1350 bar depending on the demand formulated by the electronic control unit (ECU). This results in a measured fuel consumption of 4.5 litre/100km in the combined drive cycle, or 120 g/km of CO2.
1.6 litre HDi / 16 V - DV6ATED4: 66 kW (90 bhp)
The main engine in the Diesel range, this 1560 cm3 engine benefits from advanced technology such as an aluminium engine block, sixteen-valve cylinder head and an injection system with a maximum pressure of 1600 bar.
Developing a maximum power of 66 kW at 4000 rpm and a maximum torque of 215 Nm from only 1750 rpm, it features injectors equipped with six very small diameter apertures ensuring efficient fuel/air mixing, multiple injections per engine cycle and a controlled turbocharger.
Fuel consumption is limited to 4.5 litre/100km in the combined drive cycle, or 120 g/km of CO2.
1.6 litre HDi / 16 V - DV6TED4 DPFS: 80 kW (110 bhp)
Topping the Diesel range, this engine, also fi tted with a particle filter (FAP), is particularly well equipped from a technology viewpoint and gives the 207 a level of performance that enhances its road holding abilities.
Developed from the DV6ATED4, it features in addition a variable geometry turbocharger for improved response and an overboost function that allows a temporary increase in torque. The maximum torque of 240 Nm at 2000 rpm can be increased to 260 Nm, while the maximum power is 80 kW at 4000 rpm.
Fuel consumption remains very reasonable at 4.8 litre/100km in the combined drive cycle, or 126 g/km of CO2.
INTERIOR, COMFORT AND CONVENIENCE A STRONG INCENTIVE TO DISCOVER THE INTERIOR...
Gently pull the handle and the door opens wide to reveal a refi ned and dynamic interior suggestive of space and wellbeing.
A refined interior ambience that's pleasing to the eye...
The elegant fascia panel, contemporary and appealing, traces a long, smooth arc that follows the panoramic front windscreen and the front quarter windows with their triangular shaped glass.
Its various surfaces inspire quality, be it on the entry model with its black geometrical grain (Gabin grain) or the soft hide trim reminiscent of a textile mesh (Flamine grain) available in black or dark beige.
Delicately enhanced at the ends by the side air vents, it houses, nestling deeply beneath an overhanging visor, an original design of instrument panel mirroring those found on motorbikes with three circular dials equipped with an individual, non-reflecting glass and different appearances.
At the centre of the fascia, a recessed multifunction display is located, as well as central air vents able to diffuse one of seven fragrances (according to version).
The shape of the recess guides the eye to the streamlined, high-tech centre console flanked by two vertical pillars featuring the same surface finish.
The door panels accentuate the overall feel and the low waist line with its plunging profile guides the eye towards the light of the fixed front quarter light windows.
