PEUGEOT 207 INVITES ALL ITS OCCUPANTS TO ENJOY TO THE FULL...
Its interior brightness...
Through the design of its bodywork, Peugeot 207 allows light to flood into the passenger compartment - its forward-positioned front windscreen with its large surface area (1.31 m2), a line of intentionally low-lying side windows and an additional small quarter light at the front, make for a total glazed surface area in excess of 3 m2.
This bright interior can be enhanced either by an electric sunroof with a tinted glass panel, available as an option, or by the panoramic tinted glass roof, available as standard or as an option on some versions. While the front passengers are in pole position to enjoy the benefi ts of the glass roof, it also benefi ts the rear passengers.
Both "glass" roofs (opening or panoramic) come with an interior blind and are available on 3-door and 5-door 207 versions.
Lastly, among the interior environments chosen for Peugeot 207, the "beige" ambience is a particularly light and airy option which further enhances Peugeot 207's natural brightness.
Its storage spaces
In Peugeot 207, storage spaces are designed to accommodate objects that need to be kept close at hand or retained, as well as those it is better to conceal or protect.- A large glove box with a capacity of 12.2 litres, which can accommodate a 1.5 litre bottle of water and comes with a "tamperproof" cover. On versions with air conditioning, a bypass duct allows the glove box itself to be air-conditioned
- An open storage area above it can house objects for immediate use
- An ISO storage space left free if the CD changer is not chosen (and even a second ISO in the absence of the radio)
- A card holder (credit card, parking ticket, etc) present on many versions, to keep items within easy reach
- Three storage spaces and two cup holders located in the long centre console
- High-capacity storage pockets in the front doors (double in 3-door versions) can accommodate a 1.5 litre bottle of water or A4 documents, as well as in the rear doors where children can store their little treasures
- Storage pockets on the rear of most front seats, able to accommodate A4 documents
Ideal temperature...
Temperature adjustment, an essential component of wellbeing in any car, has been meticulously studied on the 207 to ensure that both front and rear occupants travel in comfort under all circumstances. This gave rise to much work with regard to the circulation of air (or its recirculation), and on how to heat it and cool it. This research led to the creation of special air ducts under the front seats and hinged windows on 3-door versions.
Peugeot 207 features an air conditioning system available in two specifications
- "dual zone" manual or automatic, according to versions - both of which come with an externally controlled compressor that signifi cantly reduces the car's average fuel consumption.
The air conditioning duct can be equipped with a bypass to the glove box by means of a knob, making it possible to keep drinks cool for example when the outside temperature is high.
