Toyo showcase new DRR1 Drag tyre at Autosport 06






Autosport 2006 is the show for any motorsport enthusiast. All the big names in motorsport are represented a t this show, held at the NEC. With hundreds of exhibitors attending, a magnificent array of cars, and an action packed arena, there was plenty to do and see at this year's show.


Toyo chose Autosport to showcase the NEW DRR1 Drag racing slick tyre. The Pontiac Grand AM of well known racer Malcolm Frances was on display sporting the new tyres which Malcolm helped to test at Santa Pod. Also on show was the road legal track tyre - the Proxes R888, which is now available in an extended range including 195/50 15, 225/50 15 and more 18" sizes. Dreadnought garage's MGZT completed the Britcar 24 hour race in Silverstone and could be viewed at Autosport on the Toyo stand shod in Proxes R888. A stunning MX 5 from the MAX 5 Championship was the third car on display for Toyo

The stunning Toyo stand could be seen from any point in Hall 9. Over the course of the weekend Toyo gave away hundreds of free gifts ranging from T shirts, to pens, to baseball caps in a free prize draw.
