HAMANN Tuning engineers specially developed a high-performance motor tuning for the model variations 520i, 525i, 530i, 530d and 545i. The top motorization is the HAMANN 5 Series Touring 5.2. The 5,156 ccm aggregate boasts maximum torque of 550 Nm of 3,900 U/min, and delivers an impressive 412 hp at 6,100 U/min. Compared to the 545i showroom model, this represents an increase of some 80 hp and 100 Nm. It`s no wonder then that maximum speed stands at 283 km/h, or some 176 mph.


HAMANN Tuning offers the 5 Series Touring with special sport lowering springs. The progressive springs make the car notably more precise in its steering and improves the handling. The lowering with the sport lowering springs brings the front of the car down 35 millimeters. This results in `Sheer Driving Pleasure`, especially in quick changes of direction.


Of course a premium braking system has also been included in the HAMANN BMW 5 Series, in the form of the sport braking system developed by the BMW specialists, featuring 365x34 millimeter slotted, internally ventilated fixed yoke brake discs. The special brake linings and flexible steel brake conduits also guarantee very precise deceleration.


In accordance with the technical modifications, the HAMANN Tuning BMW 5 Series Touring also has a striking external design. The front has been designed in a more powerful, unmistakable look using a front apron. The broad side skirts reinforce this impression and consistently lead the dynamic lines of the basic model. At the rear, the roof spoiler and rear apron closure, including the diffuser and integrated dual-pipe sport end muffler, ensure a sporty appearance. The in-house designed exhaust system additionally gives the HAMANN BMW 5 Series Touring an impressive, fat sound.


A further optical highlight is in the form of the 20 inch ANNIVERSARY I light metal rims. The aluminum wheels with their innovative multi-spoke design emphasize the sportiness and elegance of the HAMANN 5 Series Touring in the sizes of 9x20 inch in the front and 10.5x20 inch in the rear. The high-sheen polished INOXX steel lip of the light metal wheels is another special feature.


The interior of the car demonstrates a series of sporty accessories that underline the level of exclusivity of the HAMANN model. This includes a complete aluminum set of pedals including aluminum foot supports and an exclusive sport gear shift. The interior is rounded off by the refined foot mats with the HAMANN logo.
